This is my main social-media project. Short videos about creatures built from insects, plants, and digital matter — biology that doesn't work in real life but works inside the videos.
A million followers in a year. A handful of clips crossed hundreds of millions of views each — Lotus Mantis is the best-known of them, not the only one at that scale.
On the anniversary of that video I dropped a 72-hour limited collection — t-shirts and art prints in the style of old entomological atlases, with the video's character turned into a scientific specimen. Alongside it there's an NFT series on Objkt with observation cards and interfaces of an imaginary naturalist.
The whole pipeline — concept, AI generation, shooting, post, social — I run myself.
